Local Dirt is run by husband and wife team Michael and Carlie Mahaffey, based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Michael is a designer who has spent nearly two decades helping brands tell their stories through illustration and identity design. Local Dirt grew from his passion for the trails and outdoor places that have long influenced and inspired his creative work.
Carlie is an multi-media artist with a passion for nature and four-legged trail companions. She keeps the operation moving, from events and logistics to helping shape the voice of the brand.
Giving back to those who give to the trails.
Trails don’t maintain themselves.
Whenever we can, a portion of Local Dirt proceeds goes back to organizations that build and care for the places we ride and explore. Because without them, there is no Local Dirt.
